The following packages must be installed on your system, for ATSlog to work: * GCC compiler * MySQL (tested on 4.xx and 5.xx) or PostgreSQL * Perl 5, Perl DBD-mysql or DBD-Pg modules modules for the MySQL or PostgreSQL. * Web Server (tested with Apache HTTPD) with PHP (4.3 or later) if you want to use web interface. The step-by-step instructions. 1 Download and unpack atslog-2.1.1.tar.gz: fetch http://atslog.com/download/archives/atslog-2.1.1.tar.gz tar vzxfmp atslog-2.1.1.tar.gz 2 Look at the "configure" options: cd atslog-2.1.1 ./configure --help and run "configure" with your settings 3 Run "make install" 4 Adjust settings in the $PREFIX/atslog.conf (e.g. /usr/local/etc/atslog.conf) file. Pay special attention on such parameters as: $port $speed $fastwrite $model 5 Start your SQL server (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and run "make install-sql" 7 To make ATSlog www interface available through your web site, I suggest that you add something like the following to httpd.conf: Alias /atslog/ "/usr/local/www/atslog/" Options none AllowOverride Limit Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 .example.com Change web interface settings in the www/include/config.inc.php.
