It should be enough to type 'make' and 'make install'.  It will put
everything in /usr/local which should be OK, but if not, change
PREFIX in the Makefile.  For MySQL compilation, you'll need to
define where the system can find MySQL includes and libraries.
These are MYSQL_INC and MYSQL_LIB.
