Baza danych jest zapisana w gzip'powanym XML'u, tak żebyś zawsze mógł się nim zabawić, albo odczytać w razie potrzeby :-) Na żądanie program może także zapisać zawartość odpowiednio małych plików. Po tym, możesz rozpocząć skanowanie poleceniem <tt>Dodaj nośnik</tt> z menu Edycji. W nowym okienku musisz wybrać katalog/dysk który chcesz dodać. Zaleca się podanie nazwy oraz numeru nośnika która muśi być unikatowa. (Program sam generuje nazwe i numer) Możesz przypisać nośnik danemu użytkownikowi w razie potrzeby. <br>Jeśli juz zeskanowałeś nośniki, możesz je przeglądać w oknie przeglądarki (tak jak w mc), albo czegoś poszukać.
