Basically the update client works like this:


odsclient username password hostname [ipaddress]

Note: The IP address is optional.  If not specified, it uses the ip address
your connecting with.


To build:
Just type make in the odsclient directory and all *should* work.
Note that on some platforms you may need to redefine the DNSLIB
value in the makefile.  
On some systems you may need to change this to -lbind.  

This client has been compile and work properly on:
RedHat 6.2 and FreeBSD 4.3
