COMMERCIAL Version information	- asedit 1.3.2

An extended and performance oriented version of asedit is commercially
available.

The commercial version of asedit 1.3.2c has the following extra features
when compared with the free asedit 1.3.2 (for the list of common features
see README):

    - Much better performance. It is 2 - 3 times faster for files of
      size 40 - 120 kB (for bigger files the speed increase is bigger)
    - Extra View and Options menus that allow access to new features
    - Two panes (views) of a text being edited (split windows)
    - Run-time change of font in each edit pane
    - Run-time change of word wrapping and autoindent in each edit pane
    - Run-time change of tabstops interval
    - Support for overtype mode (Motif 1.2 and above only)
    - Line and column numbers display is switchable (on/off).
    - Support for multiple encodings of national characters, including
      user defined translation tables
    - Support for session manager protocols (as in CDE)
    - Optional interactive spell checking (using ispell)
    - Multi-platform startup script
    - User's manual
    - Some other improvements.


Licensing of the commercial version is based on per machine basis (no limit
for number of users). Commercial version is distributed in binary form
either on 3.5" UNIX diskette in tar format or by network (FTP or E-mail).

Fully localized commercial versions are available currently in English
and Polish.
Note also that the commercial version might be made available, on request,
for other languages.
