DIRECT X: MagicCube4D uses the DirectX library from Microsoft. If the program doesn't run for you, you probably don't have the DirectX software installed. This version of MagicCube4D was built with version 5. You can download the end-user version from http://www.microsoft.com/directx/resources/downloads/dx5eng.exe Versions newer than that should still work with this program, and you can look up the latest one under http://microsoft.com/directx. BUILDING FROM SOURCE: Building MagicCube4D for Windows from source requires Microsoft Visual C++ version 5.0 or later and Direct X as described above.
