This stat only matters when the character is running; it determines how fast he can run i.e. how many tiles he can move in a single phase. Initiative This stat covers reaction time, observational abilites and agility. It determines how quickly a character can act i.e. how many actions the character gets per round. This stat is very important for all types of characters. Leadership The character's emotional discipline. It determines how much pain and suffering the character can withstand. It also determines a character's resistance against psychological effects like fear. Sagacity The character's intelligence, wisdom, education, and powers of problem solving. Right now this stat is only important for reading tomes. Force The character's potential to evoke and control psychic power. All human characters have a certain psychic potential, but it is usually left untapped. Force is the most important stat for psykers, and it is also important for fighters who want to use force weapons. = Stat Tests = The outcome of many game events is determined by character stat tests. A D100 is rolled and compared to the current value of the tested stat. If the result of the dice roll is lower than or equal to the stat value the test counts as passed, otherwise it counts as failed. EXCEPTION: A dice roll between 1 and 5 automatically succeeds. EXCEPTION: A dice roll between 96 and 100 automatically fails.
