You can get the latest version of xtet42 from
ftp://ftp.pvv.ntnu.no/pub/pvv/games/, but you've probably already done that,
haven't you?

./configure
make
make install

I recomend you to install the program set-group-id. To do this, give the
argument --enable-setgid=GROUP to configure. This will make xtet42 setgid
GROUP (or "games" if no group is given) and the hiscore-directory and files
will be writeable to GROUP.

The configure option --disable-log disables logging of two-players games.
