Run

  ./configure

then

  make

and then

  make install

This automatically installs the program into /usr/sbin. Init 
scripts for Debian systems are automatically installed into 
/etc/init.d. If you use another Linux distribution or UNIX/BSD 
system, please modify the init scripts or write your own
(contributions for other systems are welcome!).
