G1. What is goldstr and why should I bother?

  goldstr is a golden string calculator that can fill your sistem with
  ASCII '0's and '1's.

  goldstr is open-source software. The openness of the sources is the
  strongest assurance of quality you can have.

  goldstr is licensed under the GNU General Public License.

G2. Where do I find the latest FAQ and goldstr sources?

  The latest is available alongside the latest goldstr sources at its
  homepage:

G3. I think I've found a bug. Will you fix it?

  Yes I will, provided you include enough diagnostic information for me
  to go on. Send bugs to my email address. When reporting bugs, please
  include the following:
    1. Your operating system.
    2. Your compiler version, if you built from source; otherwise, the
       name and origin of the RPM or other binary package you installed.
    3. Any command-line options you used.

  Often, the first thing I will do when you report a bug is tell you to
  upgrade to the newest version of goldstr, and then see if the
  problem reproduces. So you'll probably save us both time if you
  upgrade and test with the latest version before sending in a bug
  report.

  Any bug I can reproduce will usually get fixed very quickly, often
  within 48 hours. Bugs I can't reproduce are a crapshoot. If the
  solution isn't obvious when I first look, it may evade me for a long
  time. So if you want your bug fixed rapidly, it is not just sufficient
  but nearly necessary that you give me a way to reproduce it.

G4. I have this idea for a neat feature. Will you add it?

  Maybe. Tell me and I'll see.

O1. Why is the first program version 1.4.0?

  Because the very first versions (up to 1.2.0) were made under MS-DOS
  and undocumented. The first real Linux version is 1.4.0.
