.SH DESCRIPTION

\fIvideotext\fP is an interactive frontend for videotext-interfaces using
the X Window System and the XView toolkit. It uses a special device driver
to access the interface and is also able to read videotext-pages from a file
or spool-directory. It supports TOP-text and uses caching and prefetching to
give fast access to videotext-pages. It's also possible to export the pages
in GIF, PPM, PNG, PostScript and ASCII format.

The user-interface should be mostly self-explanatory. You can request help
by pressing the F1 (or Help) key while running \fIvideotext\fP.  \fBNot
