		for debugging purposes - it behaves like printf if DEBUG is defined, nothing
		happens otherwise;

	const gchar *kf_find_file (const gchar *name);
		for finding files in kf data directory;

	const gchar *kf_config_file (const gchar *name);
		for finding files in user's kf directory ($HOME/.kf/)

		above two functions return pointer to static buffer which may be changed
		by subsequent calls

	kf_gui_alert (const gchar *msg);
		for displaying simple message windows
