RTSP Proxy Kit User's Guide</a>

<p><a name="18174"></a>This guide explains how to compile, test, and use the source code in the RTSP Proxy Kit, which is available from RealNetworks Web site.</p>
<p><a name="18186"></a>The RTSP Proxy Kit contains source code for a reference implementation of an application-level RTSP proxy server for UNIX and Windows environments. The kit provides all of the basic functionality for an RTSP proxy. </p>
<p><a name="18259"></a>This kit is intended for developers in the firewall industry to use as a basis for deploying an RTSP proxy in their firewall software. It is <I>not</I> intended for IT professionals to use as a stand-alone implementation in their network infrastructure.</p>
<p><a name="18244"></a>As a reference implementation, the code in the kit should be adapted and modified for both the environment and the firewall software with which it is intended to work. </p>
