My preferred installation is queso in /sbin and queso.conf in /etc 
Use --prefix=something to change your preferences, default is /usr/local

Linux with native RAW sockets :

        $ ./config --prefix=
	$ make
	$ su 
	# make install


The rest with libpcap (ftp://ftp.ee.lbl.gov/libpcap.tar.Z) :

        $ ./config --prefix= --with-pcapdir=/usr/source/libpcap-0.4
	$ make
	$ su 
	# make install
